Encoding preserves Unicode text, including emoji. Decoding rejects malformed Base64 and bytes that are not valid UTF-8. Errors clear the previous output so you cannot accidentally copy an older result.
Base64 is encoding, not encryption. Base64 makes data transportable, not confidential. Avoid entering passwords or other sensitive information.
